The Guedrils

In an authentic village steeped in history, you will enjoy an area of several hectares with its wooded park, ponds and river. The property of the “Guédrils” whose origin dates back to the 13th century is an enchanting place. In an exceptional setting, you will enjoy absolute peace and quiet, an authentic nature in contact with a preserved fauna. A warm and considerate welcome from the owners will contribute to making your stay exceptional and unforgettable.
The Domaine des Guédrils is located 400 metres from the centre of the village of Genêts.
You will find three restaurants, a bakery, a grocery store/library. The property is perfectly enclosed and the gates are equipped with automatic opening beepers. Bicycles are available free of charge to guests as well as a boat and parking spaces. For fishing enthusiasts, it is possible to practise this hobby in the main pond. Pets are only allowed on request

The Bakery

Located in the Domaine des Guédrils, La Boulangerie is a detached house that used to be a bakery with its original bread oven.


The Mont Saint-Michel and its abbey classified by Unesco are accessible by road or by foot (6,5 kms)
Granville, its port, its ramparts, its seafood and the Christian Dior museum (19 kms), The Chausey archipelago is accessible by boat from Granville is exceptional for the beauty of its nature, its turquoise waters and its marine fauna,

Avranches and its museum containing the manuscripts of the Mont Saint Michel (8 kms)
Saint Malo visit the ramparts of the corsair city, its port and its aquarium on the way back. Stop in Cancale to taste seafood (75 kms).
To the north, the landing beaches are an hour and a half’s drive away and the Caen Memorial Museum (90 kms), which has an exceptional collection of World War II objects, is not to be missed.

Immense sandy beaches a few kilometres away will allow children to enjoy the pleasures of swimming. They will also have the opportunity to join a horse riding club to learn to ride horses or to go for a ride in the bay.
A thalassotherapy centre in Donville (15 kms) offers à la carte tr, treatments and an 18-hole golf course is available for the more sporty.
A visit to an important zoo is possible in Champrepus (19 kms), and a go-kart circuit with a paintball activity can entertain children in Sainte-Pience (24 kms).
